This was the first time I attempted this event and fromthe time I had taken out the garbage at my house to seeing the snow coming down in Dalton I knew that it was going to be a challenge. The temp was around 11 degrees and the cold and rocky terrain were playing Jedi mind tricks on my soul. Through it all, I survived the Snake and finished with the fastest time in my age group and 3rd fastest overall with a time of 2hrs 12mins. Hoping to be under 2hrs the next visit to the Snake in February.

This is an urban assault ride. Expect a mix of paved trails, streets, storm culverts, and dirt trails. Approx. 10 miles. See route map.
